Life can be hard.  We all face daily struggles.  Imperfections.  Hesitations.  Insecurities.

But then, there’s this.

Can you see her?  The angel?  She’s soaring sideways with her left arm outstretched in front of her.  She’s glowing, as angels do.  She appeared to me as I was speaking to my mother and grandmother on the phone.  It’s a regular conference call we have together.  We catch up, and we pray.

Matthew 18:20 :: For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them

And that’s when miracles happen.  It was a reminder for me that whatever the struggle may be, we aren’t alone.  I’ve always been a strong believer in angels.  Guardian angels.  Protectors.  They inspire me and bring me a sense of safety.  A sense of calm.  I’ve recently been feeling like there’s a mission for my life that I can’t quite figure out.  It’s beginning to consume me.  I’m destined for more, but what?  This angel made me realize that I’ll figure that purpose out in time.  My heart is open, and eventually I will understand my mission.

These signs, these inspirations, are all around us.  We just have to open our eyes and pay attention.  Sometimes, the answer really is in the clouds.
